The Create Validation Files utility can be used to create data entry validation files used by various applications that integrate with Tabs3 Billing. The files are used for purposes of verification while doing data entry, and in some cases must be present to allow integration.

Validation File Names

The OK button can be used to begin the creation process. Status indicators will be displayed showing the number of records created. (Note: The process will not begin unless adequate disk space is available.)

The Cancel button can be used to close the Create Validation Files window.

Note: If you are using Tabs3 Device Interface to import transactions from a data capture device, see KB Article R11684, “Tabs3 Device Interface Instructions,” for information on creating validation files.
