The Statement Format options consist of Detail, Summary or None. This option indicates the format of client funds information on Tabs3 statements.

Detail

The Detail format allows each client funds transaction to print on the statement as opposed to just the fund balance. An opening and closing client funds balance is also included. All client funds transactions, regardless of date, will appear on the statement with the exception of transactions on hold. The following is an example of how client funds activity appears on the statement when the Detail option is selected:

                   Client Funds

         Beginning Client Funds Balance $100.00
10/06/21 Initial Deposit 2,000.00
10/15/21 Payment to Firm -500.00
                                                  ---------
         Ending Client Funds Balance $1,600.00

Note: The Client Funds heading, the Beginning Client Funds Balance and Ending Client Funds Balance terminology can be customized on Lines 59, 61 and 62 in Statement Customization. (Tip: If you don't want the Beginning Client Funds Balance line to print when the beginning balance is zero, enter an asterisk in the first character position of Line 61.)

Summary

The Summary format allows the client funds account balance to print at the end of the statement. The following is an example of a summary client funds section on the statement.

                    Client Funds

Client Funds Balance $1,600.00

Note: The Client Funds Balance terminology can be customized on Line 60 in Statement Customization.

None No information regarding the client funds account will be printed on the statement.

Note: In order for client funds to be billed, the client's Statement Format option must be set to Detail or Summary.
