Percent If Percentage was specified in the Discount Type field under Courtesy Discount, this field will be shown as Percent. You can enter a percentage between 0.00% and 100.00%. The percentage entered is given as a discount when a statement for the client is billed and updated.
Amount

If Amount was specified in the Discount Type field under Courtesy Discount, this field will be shown as Amount. You can enter an amount between 0.00 and 99,999,999.99. The amount entered is given as a discount when a statement for the client is billed and updated.

Note: If the Amount specified exceeds the amount of fees being billed, then the discount given will be reduced to equal the amount of fees being billed. This will result in a For Current Services Rendered amount of $0.00. A negative previous balance or credit fee transactions have no effect on the amount of the courtesy discount.
