Enter the new billing rate you want the timekeeper's work to be billed at for this client. The New Rate will be used for new fee transactions entered for the timekeeper with a date on or after the date specified in the Effective Date of New Rate field. However, the New Rate will not apply to any previously entered transactions (regardless of the date). You can use the Change WIP Transactions program to change the rates for previously entered WIP transactions.

Note: If a rate of 0.00 is displayed in the New Rate field, the rate in the Rate field will be used for the fee transaction.

Note: Changing the New Rate field and the Effective Date of New Rate field for a client with a shared rate table changes these values for any clients who share that rate table.
