| Set Access Profile |
The Set Access Profile window is shown when clicking the Set Access Profile button on the Preferences & Permissions panel of the Add New User wizard.
Each user can be assigned membership in up to 5 different access profiles. The Set Access Profile window shows a list of all defined access profiles. The first access profile shown is always the Manager access profile. All other access profiles are listed alphabetically by Access ID. A check mark shown in the first column indicates the access profile has been selected and will be assigned to the user.
A user will have rights to a function if any of the assigned access profiles has rights to that function. For example, if the user is a member of an access profile that has access to Firm Information and is also a member of an access profile that does not have access to that function, the user will have access to the function.
Click OK to assign the selected access profile(s) to the new user and return to the Add New User wizard.
Click Cancel to close the Set Access Profile window without selecting an access profile.
Note: If no access profile is selected for the new user, the user will be unable to sign into any Tabs3 Software applications. To select access profiles later, open User Configuration for the new user after completing the wizard. Access profiles can be added or modified in the Access Profile window of System Configuration.
