| Amount Adjustment Type |
The information in this section is made available once the Calculate Client Total button is pressed.
| Billable Total | The billable total represents the total amount of fees, expenses, advances or costs depending on the Transaction Type selected. This figure excludes credits, non-billable amounts and progress fee amounts. Transactions on hold will be included if the Include Entries on Hold check box is selected. Any work-in-process payments that may be present are ignored. |
| Percentage | Select the Percentage option if you want to write-up or write-down the total by a percentage. If you select Percentage, enter the desired percentage you want to write-up/write-down the total by. Precede the percentage with a minus sign if you want to write-down the total. For example, if you want to write-down the total for a client by 10 percent, enter "-10" when prompted to enter the percentage. After entering the percentage, the New Total will be displayed. This amount represents the exact amount the fees or costs will add up to after the write-up/write-down. |
| Amount | Select the Amount option if you want to write-up or write-down the billable total to a specific amount. If you select the Amount option, you will be asked to enter the New Total. The New Total represents the exact amount you want the fees or costs to add up to after the write-up/write-down. |
