Help | Tip of the Day

Tabs3 can be configured so that the Tip of the Day window will be displayed each time a user starts Tabs3. The Tip of the Day window contains a series of tips with "How To" and "Did You Know?" information that help familiarize you with Tabs3 features.

A new tip will be displayed each time Tabs3 is started. The tips will be displayed sequentially. After the last available tip has been displayed, the tips will be repeated starting at the beginning. Whether this option is turned on or off is saved in the user profile for each individual user.

Do not show tips at startup

By selecting the Do not show tips at startup check box, the Tip of the Day option will be deactivated and will not be displayed.

To reactivate the Tip of the Day, from the Help menu, select the Tip of the Day. This will immediately display the Tip of the Day window for the current session. Once the feature has been disabled, if you want the Tip of the Day to be displayed each time Tabs3 is started, simply select the Tip of the Day menu option and clear the Do not show tips at startup check box.
Next Tip By clicking Next Tip, or pressing N, a user can cycle through the available tips. The next time Tabs3 is started, the Tip of the Day will continue where the user left off with the next tip in the sequence.
Close Clicking Close, or pressing C, will close the Tip of the Day window.
