| Zero Balance Payment Only Clients |
This option applies to those clients whose statement includes a previous balance and a payment(s) equal to the previous balance thus making the client a zero balance client. These clients have no other work-in-process being billed on the statement.
Select this check box if you want a statement printed for these clients.
Clear this check box if you do not want to have a statement printed for clients who have no fees or costs billed but who have a previous balance and a payment equal to the previous balance. This causes the payment to be processed (the accounts receivable information updated and the payment status is set to Update) but prevents a zero balance statement from printing. This option is typically used when the firm doesn't send zero balance statements.
Note: Regardless of how you answer this question, the processed statement will use a statement number. Thus, there will be gaps in the statement numbers shown on your hard copies for clients who have had a statement "processed" but not printed.
Note: The "Client" terminology can be changed in Customization. This terminology is used on all menus, windows, and reports. However, the label "Client" is used in all documentation.
