If the subtotal is associated with a field that is a number, the Report Writer will automatically print the number after the subtotal description. For example, if the Primary Sort Column is Category, you might want to enter "Subtotal for Category #" as the Primary Subtotal Description. The Report Writer will automatically enter the category number after the description on each subtotal line.
