| QuickBooks Sales Forms Transactions |
Not all transactions on QuickBooks Sales Forms get passed to Tabs3. The following list indicates whether various Sales Forms transactions are passed to Tabs3:
- Transactions created in a Customer's Accounts Receivable Register are not passed to Tabs3.
- Transactions created on a QuickBooks Invoice are not passed to Tabs3.
- Markup Amounts (write-up in Tabs3). QuickBooks actually creates another transaction instead of adjusting the original. The markup transaction is not passed to Tabs3.
- When writing checks in QuickBooks, you can also create Expenses (i.e., advances). These transactions are passed to Tabs3.
- When creating Credit Card charges in QuickBooks, you can also create expenses. These transactions are passed to Tabs3. However Credit Card charges marked as credits do not get passed to Tabs3.
- Credit Memos are passed to Tabs3 as credit transactions.
- QuickBooks Sales Receipts are not passed to Tabs3.
- Billed time tracking records will not be passed to Tabs3.
In order for time tracking records and bills to affect Accounts Receivable in QuickBooks, they must be marked on a Sales Form.
To
mark records on a Sales Form in QuickBooks
- From the Lists menu, select Customer Job List. Click the Activities
button at the bottom of the window and select the Enter Statement Charges menu option.
---or--
From the Customers menu, select Create Invoices. - Click the Time/Cost button at the top of the window.
- The Expenses tab lists all costs. Place a check mark in the Use column to put the transaction on the client's statement and thus affect the client's Accounts Receivable.
Note: Credit Memos automatically are shown on the client's statement, therefore they automatically affect Accounts Receivable.
