PDF File definition
A PDF (Portable Document Format) file is a file format developed by Adobe Systems, Inc. that preserves the appearance and format of a document including fonts, margins, and bitmap images. PDF files are compact and can be viewed or printed by anybody who has the free Adobe® Reader® software or other PDF viewer software. PDF files are independent of the environment and platform in which they are created. You can download a current version of Adobe Reader by visiting their website at www.adobe.com.
PDF files can be created in the software when running a report or statement by selecting the Tabs3 DropBox option in the Print Dialog box (or the File option and then selecting a File Type of PDF Files).
