The Performance group of the Network Test provides three sets of data to assess network reliability and stability.

The Performance group displays the following columns:

Throughput

The Throughput column displays the bytes transferred across the network in a given amount of time.

This value excludes overhead factors such as automatic indexing.
Burst Read

The Burst Read column displays how quickly the network performs the read function in a given amount of time.

This value excludes overhead factors such as validation.
Burst Write

The Burst Write column displays how quickly the network performs the write function in a given amount of time.

This value excludes overhead factors such as file open/close times.
