HTML File definition
An HTML (HyperText Markup Language) file is a file format designed for web browsers that allows hyperlinks to other HTML files. HTML file specifications have gone through a number of revisions as the internet has expanded the requirements for the HTML schema. HTML files can be viewed or printed by anybody who has a web browser. HTML files are generally independent of the environment and platform in which they are created, although some content may require plug-ins, such as JavaScript, or require certain fonts or linked files to be installed before viewing. (Note: HTML report files generated by the Tabs3 Software does not require any plug-ins.)
HTML files can be created in the software when running a report or statement by selecting the File option in the Print Dialog box and then selecting a File Type of HTML Files.
