FROM$(source$, pattern$)

 

Returns a String Value
Searches for pattern$ in source$ and returns everything following pattern$ but not including pattern$. Returns "" (null string) if pattern$ not found.

Examples:

FROM$("(402)423-1440",")")

Returns "423-1440".

FROM$("Public/John Q.","/")

Returns "John Q.".

FROM$("John Q. Public","/")

Returns ""(null string).
