DOW( ) DOW(date_value)

 

Date Function Returns a Numeric Value
Returns the day of the week number (0 - 6) corresponding to the date value. Returns 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, etc. If the date_value is left blank, than the current system date is used. Returns -1 if the date_value is equal to "mm/dd/yyyy".

Function Use

This function can be used when filtering records or formatting how dates are displayed or returned.

Example

You want to see all Statements that are dated this week.

(Date >= (TODAY() - DOW() + 1) AND (Date <= (TODAY() - DOW() + 5)))
