Use the options in this group box to control the width of the widest printable line on the report. The number of columns selected on the Format tab determines the report width. However, you can use this calculated report width or you can adjust the report width to better suit your needs.

Note: The report width can be found by previewing the report in the Preview window, right-clicking in the Preview window, and then selecting Report Info.

Auto Width Select this option if you want the report to use a 132 character wide report or wider based on the number of columns selected. If the number of columns selected requires more than 132 characters, the report width is increased automatically. If the number of columns selected requires less than 132 characters, a report width of 132 characters is still used.
Specify Width Select this option if you want to specify a width other than the actual report width. The width of the Description column will be adjusted to fit the specified width. Typically, this option is used to specify a width less than the calculated report width. Reducing the overall report width may increase the font size thus providing a more readable report (provided the selected printer is configured for automatic font selection).
Width This option is only available if the Specify Width option is selected. Specify the width in characters. The number of characters specified must be between 86 and 155. If the calculated report width based on the columns selected is 132 characters or less, a modified heading section (86 characters) will be used because the standard heading section requires 132 characters. The modified heading prints all miscellaneous lines and contact information below the heading.

Note: The phone fields and miscellaneous lines in the heading section for each client may be truncated depending on the report width. Expanding the report width by selecting more columns on the Format tab or specifying a wider Width will show all information.
