| Line 10 |
Courtesy Discount is printed on the statement if a client is configured to have a percentage or amount of fees deducted. The courtesy discount is configured on the Billing Options tab in Client Information. The date code "\S" can be used anywhere in the text to print the Statement Date specified. The format "MM/DD/YYYY" is used for the date codes. You can increment or decrement the date by adding the number of days you want to increment after the date code, or adding a minus sign (-) and the number of days you want to decrement after the date code. For example, "\S30" would increment the date by 30 days and "\S-30" would decrement the date by 30 days. The "\#" code can be used anywhere in the text to print the Client ID. The code "\%" can be used anywhere in the text to print the courtesy discount percentage. Maximum of 60 characters. The position of the courtesy discount line is defined on the Options tab of Statement Customization.
Note: If an "*" is entered in this field in the first character position or the field is left blank, the Courtesy Discount line will not print on this statement; however, statement totals will still reflect the discount. If you do not want the courtesy discount included in the totals on the client's statement, then change the client's Discount Type to None on the Billing Options tab of the Client file.
