| Last Statement Date |
This date represents the date of the most recent statement record in the client ledger file for the client. Tabs3 uses the statement date to determine the most recent statement (i.e., not the reference number of the client ledger record). If no statements have ever been generated, mm/dd/yyyy will be shown in this field. Statements that have not been updated are not included.
When entering a new client, enter the date of the last bill sent to the client in month/day/year format (i.e., mm/dd/yyyy). If initial due amounts are entered, but a date is not entered for the Last Statement Date field, the client’s Date Opened will be used. Skip this field if no bill has been sent. If the client has a past due balance and you plan on assessing finance charges, be sure to enter the correct last statement date in this field.
The
button can be used to open a Calendar
window that allows you to select a date.
Note: This field cannot be edited for clients who already have a client ledger record.
