Maximum of 8 characters. The User ID field is used to indicate the user who created the transaction. When a new transaction is entered, the User ID field defaults to the User ID logged into Tabs3.

Once the transaction is saved, the field can only be edited by a Manager. Clicking the button next to the User ID field opens a User Lookup window allowing you to view a list of users and select a user by double-clicking it.

Note: The User ID field was added to the data entry windows in Version 11. Therefore, transactions entered prior to Version 11 will display the User ID "STCONV11" to indicate the transaction was converted to Version 11. The Date Entered for converted transactions will be the transaction date.
