Select the Rate check box if you want to change the Rate field for work-in-process fee transactions. The following options will then be available:

Old Maximum of 9,999.99. Enter the rate that you want to change. For example, if you want to change the rate on fee transactions from $100 to $125, enter $100 in this field.
New Maximum of 9,999.99. Enter the new rate you want used on the fee transactions. For example, if you want to change the rate on fee transactions from $100 to $125, enter $125 in this field.

Note: When changing a transaction's Rate field, the Amount field is automatically recalculated based on the new rate and the number of hours specified for the transaction. However, if the original Rate x Hours did not equal the Amount, then the Rate will be changed but the Amount will not be changed.
