Include % of Total

 

Select the Include % of Total for xxxxx check box if you want percentage columns included on the report. The xxxxx in this label is a variable that represents the column that has been selected for ranking purposes. When this check box is selected, a "% Total" column will be included on the report to the right of the column that has been designated for ranking. Additionally, a "% Grand Total" column will be included to the right of the "% Total" column if the Grand Totals check box is selected on the Sort tab.

Percentages are calculated differently depending on whether or not the Include Totals for Other Clients/Matters check box is selected. If a Report Order other than None is selected on the Sort tab, percentages are calculated separately for each sort.

• If the Include Totals for Other Clients/Matters check box is selected, the percentage will be based on the total of the ranked clients/matters plus the other clients/matters [i.e., (Client or Matter Value) divided by (Total Ranked Clients or Matters + Total Other Clients or Matters)].
• If the Include Totals for Other Clients/Matters check box is cleared, the percentage will be based on the total of the ranked clients/matters [i.e., (Client or Matter Value) divided by (Total Ranked Clients or Matters)].

Clear this check box if you do not want percentages included on the report.
