reporting year

There are 12 reporting months in a year. The first month of the reporting year is defined in Customization on the Main tab when the software is first configured. You can see the first month of the current reporting year in the About Tabs3 window. Most firms are on a calendar year (i.e., January through December); however, Tabs3 can be configured in Customization to use a different beginning reporting month than January. The Set Current Reporting Month program can be used to change the reporting month and year. Certain reports, such as the Timekeeper Productivity Report and the Category Productivity Report, use the reporting year to determine which year's figures will be included on the report.
