The New Report button is used to create a new report writer definition.
To create a new report writer definition, click the New Report button in the Report Writer Manager window. The Create New Report dialog box will be displayed allowing you to enter a New Name.
| New Name | Maximum of 8 characters. The Report Name can consist of letters, numbers and the underscore character. You cannot specify a Report Name that already exists. |
Note: All report writer definitions are saved with an extension of "T3R" (i.e., "*.T3R").
Once you have entered the New Name, click OK to create the report. The Report Writer window will be displayed allowing you to define the report writer definition.
The Cancel button will return to the Report Writer Manager without creating the definition.
