The Client file contains details about matters, such as client name, address, description, originating timekeeper, contact name, phone numbers, and other general client related information that is typically tracked for all clients.
In Tabs3 Billing, the Client Information window shows billing preferences and custom fields used to track time and generate bills. In PracticeMaster, the Client File window includes the Area of Practice associated with the matter, as well as additional, customizable information needed for the client. In Tabs3 Trust Accounting, the Trust Account Information window is used to select a bank account for the matter, designate a responsible attorney, and specify options for payment integration.
Address, phone, and email selectors determine what information is shown in the Client file, and is used for integration and report purposes. This information is stored in linked Contact records, as this information is used throughout the Tabs3 Software.
